Volkswagen Jetta-GLI

Volkswagen launched the 2023 line of the Jetta GLI in EUA, the only version still for sale of the German medium sedan in Tupiniquin lands. According to the brand, the Jetta GLI 2023 stands out for bringing innovations in terms of technology and safety, thanks to the arrival of a semi-autonomous assistance package that becomes standard in the sedan. Delivering an ADAS package that already came with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Volkswagen incorporated five new equipment in this package: Active Lane Change Assistant (Lane Assist), Active Driving Assistant (Travel Assist), Rear Exit Assistant, Blind Spot Detector (Blind Spot Monitoring) and Pedestrian Detector with Autonomous Braking.

For the rest, it is the same Jetta GLI that we know. The sedan maintains the 2.0 TSI gasoline engine with 231 hp and 35.7 kgfm of torque, coupled to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automated transmission. With this set, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 249 km/h.

Volkswagen still maintains the sedan with driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual. Standard items also add equipment such as electric steering, ACC and climate control, seats with electric adjustment and memory for the driver, combination with cabin lighting, with 10 color options, and the standard panoramic sunroof.The list is completed with the 10.1” VW Play multimedia center, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There is also an internal 10 GB hard drive and the option to download native applications from VW Play Apps, as well as valet mode, among other functions. The sedan will be sold in five colors: Pure Gray, Pure White, Mystic Black, Kings Red and Rising Blue.
