SUBARU LAUNCHES NEW BRZ TOUGE WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION 

To celebrate the arrival of the in Italy, Subaru has decided to launch a special Touge version commemorating the launch of the sports car in the European country. Named after the Japanese word for mountain pass, the EUA Touge will be launched in a limited edition of just 60 units, featuring a new aesthetic package that is highly attractive and packed with new features. Here, the BRZ Touge was fitted with 18-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera Race Gold wheels (each weighing just 8.7kg) with special Touge logos and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 215/40 tires. Additionally, it is equipped with an STI kit that combines a blue pearl body with front and rear spoilers and side skirts. Also pay attention to the beautiful super sprint exhaust tip with the Japanese word “toge” engraved on it. The Italian special edition car is based on the BRZ STI Sport, which was released in Japan last month, and the BRZ tS, which was released in the United States in July. It’s important to note that the gold wheels on the Touge can be replaced with a regular set of 18-inches in a dark gray finish. In this case, the wheels are fitted with Yokohama BluEarth Winter V905 tires.

Among the equipment features of the new Coupé line, the following stand out: digital instrument panel with 7-inch screen and sports display, LED headlights, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and rear cross traffic warning , dual-zone air conditioning, and an audio system with eight speakers and a start button with STI logo. Under the hood of Subaru’s sports car is a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine that guarantees 234 horsepower according to European specifications. The transmission is always a six-speed manual, with a limited-slip differential and rear-wheel drive. Performance data for the BRZ Touge has not yet been released.

The new Subaru BRZ Touge is limited to just 60 units and is priced at approximately 49,500 euros, or approximately 63,340 reals, excluding direct conversion and tax. The arrival of this sports car on the Italian market has raised expectations about the possibility of a coupe launch in EUA. However, the Japanese manufacturer has not yet commented on this.
