Hyundai Santa Fe 2024

With 4.8 meters long, plenty of space and a groundbreaking design, Santa Fe offers more than a family car, a car to live experiences.

We had the teasers, we had the photos . But now Hyundai makes the world revelation with all the data from the new Santa Fe , a model that became Hyundai’s first modern SUV and that in this fifth generation is completely reinvented, betting on new features and a design very different from that of their rivals.

“Since the first Santa Fe debuted 23 years ago, this SUV has won the hearts of millions of customers around the world ,” says Jaehoon Chang, Hyundai Chairman and CEO. “The powerful and bold identity of the new Santa Fe, which seeks to intertwine the outdoor world with the urban landscape, will establish an unrivaled presence in the midsize SUV segment.”

  • Length:  4,830 mm
  • Width:  1,900mm
  • Height:  between 1,720 to 1,780 mm depending on the version and if the roof bars are considered or not
  • Between axles:  2,815 mm
  • Trunk:  725 liters without counting the optional third row

Hyundai’s strategy with this generation was to start from the trunk, making this place the nucleus of the new Santa Fe. For this reason, it is encouraged to use this space as a recreational place, to sleep, to hang out and even to cover up. of rain.

The rectangular shape of the model and the extended wheelbase help to achieve more space, but also to achieve a powerful presence. On the other hand, the most modern details allow us to deliver a more modern aesthetic. In the front we have a high hood, well-defined wheel arches and H-shaped lights, both in the front and in the lower part of the rear. With 11 colors and wheels up to 21″, this fifth generation is unmistakable, regardless of the fact that due to its shape, it is normal to compare it with other models, even those that are not in its segment like the Land Rover Defender.

The interior follows the keys of the exterior, with straight shapes that emphasize horizontal and vertical lines. The H is once again present in the general design of the board, including illuminated segments.

Regarding the equipment, there are many interesting things, including:

  • 12.3-inch screens, for the instrument panel and for the multimedia system, in an integrated curved panel
  • UV-C technology sterilization tray on the glove compartment
  • Two wireless charging stations for phones
  • Second and third row fold flat
  • Eco-friendly materials, that look and feel premium, as well as being non-toxic for children (who touch and suck on everything). Polymers, eco leather and even the exterior paint is ecological.
  • Five colors to choose from: two types of black, grey, brown and green.
  • Extended leg clearance for both rows. The height too, which allows a better posture.
  • 6.6-inch touch panel for climate control
  • Front seats with thigh support, to generate a sensation of zero gravity
  • digital center mirror
  • Rear seats with more comfortable functions and postures (six-passenger version)
  • The central storage console can be opened from the front or from the back (in the Lexus style, only in the Japanese brand it is from left to right)
  • OTA updates
  • Digital key compatible with NFC, BLE or UWB technology
  • Radar detection of occupants in the rear seats, for forgetful parents
  • In the fifth generation of Santa Fe there are also a ton of assists. Many of these we already know, but not all of them were previously available on this model:
  • Frontal collision prevention system, with alert and autonomous braking
  • active lane keeping
  • Driving Attention Monitor, which analyzes the driver’s driving style and can even monitor their vital signs
  • Smart cruise control, which can also maintain safe cornering speeds by synchronizing with GPS, as well as help keep the vehicle centered in its lane
  • smart speed limiter
  • Cross traffic monitor with anti-collision assistant
  • parking cameras
  • panoramic camera
  • remote parking assistant
  • Alert for safe exit of the car

The mechanical offer will vary according to the market. The constants will be the automatic boxes, gasoline-only options and the H-Trac traction. In Korea and North America there will be two options:

  • Theta III 2.5 Turbo GDI with 277 Hp and 422 Nm, combined with a DCT8 box
  • Gamma III 1.6 Turbo GDI Hybrid with 177 Hp and 265 Nm, combined with a 6AT gearbox

In the rest of the world:
