The first 2024 Ford Mustang GT fetched $490,000 at Barrett-Jackson Auction . However, with the extra donations the total price was US$565,000 (approximately R$2,882,178, in direct conversion).
The value was fully reverted to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation , a research institution on Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
Under the hood, the pony car hides the V8 5.0 Coyote engine associated with a six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic transmission to deliver a healthy 486 hp of power and 562 Nm (57.3 kgfm) of torque.
