
US Chevrolet announced plans for the new generation Trax, the brand’s entry-level crossover, which succeeds the previous generation Tracker in the North American market. GM’s plans are ambitious, the brand expects the 2024 Trax crossover to be the third best-selling vehicle, behind the Silverado and the Equinox. For this, the brand will set prices for all versions of the Trax below $ 25,000 with shipping. The 2024 Trax started hitting North American dealerships in March, arriving in the US imported from South Korea. It comes with a 1.2-liter in-line three-cylinder turbo engine producing 137 hp and 220 Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission – the same mechanical set as the Tracker RS.

The model will be sold with only in front-wheel drive version.

Pricing ranges from $21,495 for the LS version and goes up to $24,995 (R$126,000) for the RS and Activ, including shipping.

The Trax will come standard with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keeping Assist with Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert.
