At first, the Caoa Chery Omoda 5 2023 is the brand’s new SUV-coupe , having been presented worldwide at the end of last year in China.

Design

The first novelty is on the windshield, which now has a sticker with the inscription “48V+ADAS”. The first acronym represents 48 Volts, that is, the Caoa Chery Omoda 5 2023 will be sold in Brazil with the same 48V light-hybrid engine launched in the Tiggo line.

The new Chinese SUV will bring a bolder look, based on the brand’s “Art in Motion” philosophy. At the front, the model has a wide grille with split headlights, with the daytime LEDs positioned next to the hood and the main lights just below.

Meanwhile, the sides bring a high waistline and wheels with options of up to 18 inches. The rear has interconnected taillights and accentuated ceiling trim, which highlights the trunk lid.

Interior

Now let’s talk about the interior of the Omoda 5 2023 , where the highlight is the 100% digital instrument panel with a 12.5-inch screen that is integrated with the multimedia center.

According to the photos that have been released so far, it is possible to notice that the interior will have a very sophisticated finish, with a wide variety of materials, a raised central console and seats with ample lateral support.

Also, it is worth noting that in Russia, the Caoa Chery Omoda 5 2023 will be sold by Chery’s sub-brand Omoda. That is, the Chery logos will disappear, and the cabin of the SUV will be different.

The new SUV will have driver assistance and safety features that have just arrived in an unreleased version of the Tiggo 7 Pro . Thus, the list of items for the new Omoda 5 should include:

In the Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid and Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, for example, this set is flex, yielding 160 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque. However, the question is whether the Omoda 5 will come with a gasoline-powered light-hybrid engine or already adapted for ethanol.
