The 2024 Toyota Corolla ignored the old adage that “in a team that is winning, it doesn’t move”, bringing specific modifications to maintain its leadership in the segment.

Even though the look is almost the same, with only new features on the grille and wheels, inside it comes standard with 9-inch multimedia, digital dashboard and more comfort and safety equipment.

Corolla 2024 Altis Hybrid Premium – 1.8 engine with 98/101 hp and 14.5 kgfm of torque + electric motor with 72 hp and 16.6 kgfm, with CVT transmission.

SERIAL ITEMS : same items as in the Altis Premium 2.0 version.

Corolla 2024 – motor

While the 2024 Corolla changed its hybrid system in other markets abroad, here Toyota decided to keep everything the same as what we saw previously.

With this, the sedan starts with the 2.0 transverse engine, with direct and indirect injection, 4 cylinders and 16 valves, in addition to natural aspiration and double overhead valve control.

It produces 169 horsepower with gasoline and 175 hp with ethanol, at 6,600 rpm, in addition to 21.3 kgfm of torque (with any fuel), at 4,400 rpm. The gearbox does not change, always being a CVT with 10 speeds.

The hybrid versions continue with the previous system, which combines the 1.8 engine with 98/101 hp (at 5,200 rpm) and 14.5 kgfm (3,600 rpm) to the electric motor with 72 hp and 16.6 kgfm, producing a combined power of 122 hp.

The transmission of these configurations is also CVT.
