Confirmed two variants for the electric spider

Presented in China and Europe, the MG Cyberster is close to being marketed and for this reason the English brand , owned by the Chinese SAIC, has released the definitive technical specifications. The electric spider is a trailblazer for a segment that could welcome numerous competitors in the future and focuses on style and performance to win over customers.

Up to 536 HP and 580 km range. The MG will be offered in two versions, with clear differences in terms of powertrain and performance, but prices have not yet been disclosed. At the top of the range we find a twin-engine version with 536 HP and 725 Nm capable of reaching 100 km/h from standstill in 3.2 seconds and traveling 580 km (in the Chinese CLTC cycle) thanks to 77 kWh batteries. For those who prefer rear-wheel drive, a second version is available with a single engine of around 300 HP with 64 kWh batteries that promise a range of 520 km. Despite the slender shapes, the MG is bigger and heavier than one might think: the Cyberster is 4.53 meters long and above all declares a mass of 1,985 kg. The weight/power ratio is therefore favorable but not extreme,
